Looking to Be Indy in Texas

Met with MassMutual today. Not sure if I like them or not. They asked me to compile a list of 200 of my friends and family and basically told me that they don't offer any kind of advanced commission loan for new agents, and that I probably wouldn't see a commission check for 4-5 months.

While the commission thing kind of bugs me, the list of 200 really does. I know that some companies ask for this, but still. It doesn't sit well with me.

I agree, I don't like the "project 100" stuff. Or 200. Giving them the names of your 100 closest buddies and family. Not good. Fortunately all mine are in Iowa, and I'm in TX, so I usually just tell them I'll prospect and get 200 names.

However, if you were to work a project 100 correctly and get referrals, it could work out really well in theory.
