Looks like Dm about to rise again . First class going for .58 to .60 postcards .40 to .44

For some reason I was under the impression he passed away. .
I don't know anything about the guy. I just remember he was giving some agent bad advice and Travis gave him an overly harsh but funny (SNL reference) correction. It was very polarizing with several people thinking Travis was being too much of a bully to the guy.

$208,000.00 annually

$2990.00 a month on lead cards
Gas $1000.00 a month (I'm a big truck guy)

$160,120.00 net income annually
$13,343.00 monthly net

Pretty nice living !

Your forgetting Travis is part owner of FEX with Scott . With the many millions it generates in overrides yearly he doesn't need to sell . But selling a little keeps one sharp . I have a friend who probably generates $500 k a yr in overrides but he grinds selling every day as he loves it . He says he never knows when overrides go away so he doesn't depend on them .

Especially later on.

Well he can have a heavy handed approach sometimes but Travis has helped a LOT of agents to not fail out of this business and to generate a great income for their families.
On the other hand people giving unproven advice have harmed a lot of people and if left completely unchecked, well just look on Facebook.
I've seen people come on Face book and just ask a simple question like Does anyone have a plan for someone who can afford $30 monthly and was recently diagnosed with cancer?
You will see them getting blasted by all the "experts" with the most nonsensical answers including annuities, indexed UL, State Farm, etc. and green new agents can't tell the real from the fluff.
People that answer questions that they don't know the answer to have good intentions. But they don't understand how much harm they cause by being a bunch of static that keeps the person from recognizing real information they are seeking.

True. I'm sure he has 4-5 thousand policies on the books paying several thousand in renewals.
I thought Newby and JD owned FEX and Travis was a field agent ?
My bad.
Either way, anybody putting up those kinds of numbers is a big hitter, maybe even more than JD ?

Your buddy getting the 500k in overrides sounds like a happy guy. There's nothing better than loving what you do every day.

You can't be serious?

You didn't know that Travis and Scott own FEX? :goofy:

I don't know know what you call a big hitter. I've averaged $4800/wk for over 13 years. Haven't had a month under $10K since I got into FE.

But I am far from the top agent at FEX.

Sometimes you just don't know what you don't know.

Sorry,I didn't know. I read somewhere you were part owner.

When our agency owner was out there,he stayed out there every week and didn't come home until he had several thousand AP.

That's what I call a big hitter. An agent that has built a very nice agency with his family.

Very nice people to work with, humble and kind.

God fearing.

"Do the right thing simply because it's the right thing to do."

Hope your having a good day.

Being quite disingenuous there. You just asked me this week why I haven't built an agency. Now you claim you thought I did own FEX?

You can't even keep your own stories straight. And no one has asked you about what your owner supposedly did or didn't do.

I was told by someone in a PM who's on this forum you are part owner when you left EFES. Truth. I was not told you built an agency. I asked if you built your own agency.

The way we do things and the way you guys do things is different. I appreciate the way you guys do things and have said so many times.

Is it possible for you to say something nice about our squad ? Anyone else on here ?

Why do constantly run people down ?

I rarely hear you say anything nice about anyone other than guys at FEX,horses,or Kentucky basketball.

Thanks and hope you have a good day.

Yeah, there is a lot of questionable advice given. But on the other hand, just becasue a person is not a top producer does not mean they do not know how to do it. Before becoming CIC AFIE Dwight Eisenhower had never fought in a battle nor led troops in battle but he certainly knew how.... Most people that teach the MBAs have never ran a business. And, I have known very knowledgeable agents and even some managers that knew all the ins and outs of the business but they were not big producers becasue they had severe call reluctance.
