Lousy First Year Numbers!

JD talks about posting photos of his people.. This is a house where I made a $76 monthly, 15K sale Thursday. It is typical of the homes where I work. Clean and neat on the inside.. No roaches fleas, bedbugs, urine soaked chairs, etc.

Man, I was beginning to think I was the only one not sitting in cat piss or fleas for a simple FE case.

I was in a house Friday with another agent when we saw roaches coming out of the cabinets. Both of us were watching to make sure none got close to the table did the rest of the meeting on our feet and got the hell out of there. Those are__not__my people.

Trillionaire in six weeks? No. (But I get the hyperbole). Millionaire in six years? Definitely doable. No hyperbole. But rare. Good luck.

It was five years last month as I walked out of a trailer that had the roaches running up the walls. I took a picture of that trailer with my, then, Blackerry. I sent it to my wife and said, "No more."

I'm not sure what triggered it, but I had had enough.. I then started doing the final expense over the phone and then discovered that Med Supps over the phone was much easier of a sale to make and had the residual income I'd wanted.

I still have that photograph somewhere, of this trailer that had NO air conditioning, in the middle of the summer, and roaches everywhere.

Not saying, at all, that I'm too good to go into someone's trailer to write a policy. But when you go in enough trailers without enough apps to justify what you're doing in your own mind, it became an effort of diminishing returns.

Looking back, had I turned my judgemental brain off and just done my job, I'm sure I would have stayed doing the exact same thing. Happy that I didn't, but I could have.

Go back to your "air conditioning" and your "color TV" and your "food 3-times a day" and all your "store bought clothes" and your fancy "no wired tellyphones" and your "lack of cockroaches."

Sounds like one o' them demmed ol' Republicans to me.
