This explains some of the encounters I have at various carrier meetings.

I have other agents give me to full court press on joining their agency despite me repeated saying "I'm independent." Evidently these GA/MGA folks place agent recruitment incentives/quotas on the agents, too.

True once an agent gets their 5 they can get their bump, maintain production requirements to keep it.

They ACT like it and certainly know as little as any company management that I ever worked for.
