MA v Med Sup

Well, you gotta play with the hand you're dealt, or get another deal.

Does that mean you don't know someone for Lincoln Heritage? They have the better of the plan D's out here, I just need to contract with them. Or is it too late to do it for this year?

For Sups you should be able to contract any time of the year since there is no open season for supplements.

See if this guy is still around

Ya'll do know that at home recovery will be removed from all supplements by mid 2010... right?

They are killing preventative care and a.h.r... excess benefits on G goes to 100%.

A.H.R is cliamed on supplements less than .2%. Medicare already has a pretty nice benefit for this built in so for a client to reach above what they allow and have a D or G pay out is really rare.

J also gets removed from the schedule altogether since with the changes is the same as F... the lowest letter wins. E also goes away.

Yeah, but we're selling 2009 plans now. We will cross that bridge when we get to it.

The guy to contract with for LHL is Craig Ritter, at www.ritterim.com. Let him know that Rick referred you. I don't get a referral fee but the brownie points keep me getting good contracts. Craig has a terrific blog and quote engine you'll find very useful. He's also the most knowledgeable person about anything to do with Medicare that I know.

As far as the at home recovery, I've yet to find anyone who has collected a nickle on that benefit. It's so useless that it's being phased out in a year. Not even worth $1.25 per month.
