Manager Transitioning from Life to Health

Odd that the MGA also doesn't have contracts with companies like World and GR.

If this is indeed a captive deal where the new agent can only sell Assurant or UA and is not allowed to write through another carrier I'd walk from that opportunity.

Petrowski said - "I have blown out many an agent who was being stroked. It's not 1970. There's something called the internet now where savvy agents do homework."

Well said. 3% renewals is even more insulting than the first year number. Savy agents will indeed bail out and should.

The 15% really isn't my issue if fantastic training and support are offered for new health agents. However, better have a system in place to take those agents to 20% quickly after they're trained. The 90% advance tells me they are not getting paid directly by Assurant.

Again, I'd hate for any of 'em to wander onto this board. Kiss them goodbye.
