MAPD out of pocket insurance

Or sell them G and call it a day. Then remind them every time they call you asking about toothpaste from CVS OTC that the policy they have doesn't charge 20% for chemo, but you can change them to a plan that has 20% coinsurance for chemo but free toothpaste and $0 premium.

Not that complicated...

Well at least we stayed on topic.

So... When you sell a MAPD, offer the HI for $23 and collect your extra $. Money well earned.

If they never ever ever use it.... Well, ok? Good?

Somehow when HI comes up people think people need to "come out ahead" for it to be worth it. Since when do we come out ahead with insurance? Same with dental. No, your clients probably won't "come out ahead." Sell it anyway.

Even Plan G - they won't "come out ahead." A few will, but there is profit in premium at scale.

The concept of "making a profit" or getting a "return on investment" with insurance products is foreign to me.

I know there are folks out there who want to make as much money as possible on their insurance policy, but for some reason that line of thought only comes up on health insurance products. They never seem to apply the same rules to . . .

homeowners
automobile
disability
life insurance
