Marketing With Doctor Offices

Excellent point, and one I forgot. The doctor's office who refers to me never gives me patient information - they pass my information to the patients and they contact me at their leisure.

That is good to hear that you get the referral from them passing along your info. I think that in that setting they are more likely to pass along a brochure/card/whatever than they would be to email or call me with a referral.

This goes against every bit of training I've ever received in asking for referrals but in this setting it makes sense!
Damn real estate sales trainers LOL

That would be a great marketing strategy. I guess as agents we should take every opportunity to sell no matter the manner on how we do it. So take advantage of such option.

Doesn't have to be dental. It can be anything that is high demand, low cost and no underwriting. Accident coverage could work as well.

I would steer clear of cancer plans and similar products.

Great ideas.

How come, then, we get so upset at having Medicare Beneficiaries having to call us, rather than us calling them, but we seem to be okay with Major Medical clients initiate the call?

I've had more success with, oddly enough, STM and Dental Plans in Cleaners and Jiffy Lube shops. They let me set up my stand, and I can replenish when I want.

I personally love it when a major med is initiated by the client side.... Whether it's some kind of marketing or a referral. They are a 90% closing ratio, the easiest clients you'll ever get if you know how take care of them.
