You guys just don't want to see the future. The future is socialized medicine just like everywhere else on the planet. You can huff and you can puff, but you are not going to blow the house down. I don't know if it will be single payor or two-tier, or if agents will be part of the mix. I don't much care, so long as the system allows access to everyone just like in the UK, Germany, etc.

Socialzed medicine is dying everywhere. Name a single country that isn't experiencing tremendous pain in their health care system?

It simply means that you met whatever the requirements were at the time, and paid enough money to jump through their hoops. They have cut costs in Cuba by putting two or three people in the same hospital bed. Ask Al and his San Francisco cohorts if they would like that.. Second thought.......nevermind.

Hardly. The right has lots of good ideas and it is a voice we need to counterbalance the far left. I listen to some of Rush every day, as well as Bill on Fox (along with Keith and Rachel on MSNBC (my wife loves Rachel!) I read the Wall Street Journal cover-to-cover everyday and have been doing so for the past 30 years. (It is expensive, but well worth the price... it is an education in and of itself.)

No you don't. We govern in the middle. Government is not designed to be efficient, it is designed to be fair. It is what has prevented multiple civil wars in this country. Everyone has input into policy and policy is always a compromise which no one likes... but it beats living behind a barricade (read the history of France from 1700 to 1900.)

Do us a favor. Go back to school and get a degree, put on some maturity in the process, and then come back here and engage in meaningful discourse, not the childish rhetoric you've posted above.

Nope. The "other" Al is doing that. I'm going to work on the energy crisis. That should keep me busy for a while. I believe that if I can figure out a way to harness all the energy from all you right-wing gas-bags on this forum, we could power most of New Jersey. No one there would mind (or even notice) the smell.
