Greetings--long time lurker. But now I need specific info

Doing a few FE meetings at Seniors buildings. I contacted a couple of carriers and no help

Anyone have a Power Point etc? Video?

Also--I get asked about Pre-need and what I know about it is way out of date. What are the few main differences between FE and Pre-need (Other than where its sold)

Pas are fine if you'd rather not post here. THANKS!!!

I wouldn't do a power point. I do a mini version of my one on one presentation when I do a seminar. Maybe a white board to write a few points on like "gurantee"

Door prizes are a big thing. I give 3. $25, $15, $10. Walmart or Dollar Store are the deal there!

If you don't sell preneed don't try to explain preneed. If they ask you a question about preneed, (almost never happens), just tell them what you know and move on from the subject.

I highly suggest that you do not try to use a power point presentation. Also, you are wasting your time calling insurance companies asking for help selling their products. If they knew how to sell it, they would eliminate us.

Your presentation should be 10 minutes and hit on the thing that they deal with.

Introduce yourself and what it is that you do.

Tell them your purpose (Educating you all on some basics of what is out there)
-Go over TERM VS WHOLE LIFE
-Go over the things that they will see a lot (AARP, PHYSICIANS MUTUAL, COLONIAL PENN, ETC.)
-Go over the importance of a policy review on what they currently have
-Go over the importance of having a policy if you don't currently have one

Then tell them how you will help them look through what they currently have to make sure it is what they think it is. I tell them that I can be their second set of eyes since most people buy from an agent, take his word, then put the policy in a drawer somewhere. How do they know if it is what the agent said it was? Do you want your beneficiary to find that out, or do you want us to find that out today?

Then offer a gift card to anyone that fills out the "form".

Have a creative form that is on the tables when they sit down. It asks certain important questions that they fill out and also has a spot for "appointment time".

Then do the raffle.

Ask does anyone have questions.

GO SEE THE PEOPLE THAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!! So many agents go another day and the power of your presentation has worn off.

Lastly.........................Ask yourself why your up line is earning an over ride and not helping you with this stuff?

GREAT THANKS.

I called the carrier and asked for presentation materials they provided to other brokers.

I have a generic PPT that another agent uses with success.. Anyone that wants to look at it, Send me your email and I will send it to you. as I do not see a way to attach it here. You can look at it and if you want to develop your own script around it than you can try it. Might help you, might not but you won't know until you see it and possibly try it.

How many of these FE seminars have you done?

In the last 25 years?

:)Did I say I had done any??

That's what I figured. Giving advice once again on something you know absolutely nothing about.

Marketers, or the name of the month, "builders", are always talking about sh!t they know nothing about. But at least they have an angle, they are trying to recruit the unsuspecting.

What is your angle?
