Med Supp and Online Sales

Jim, you have no credibility and pretty much are full of $hit.

You have a lot of guts to compare your experience and knowledge with people like Craig Ritter. You were first licensed about 3 years ago and spend most of your time trying to recruit and talk about all the mythical offices you have.

Go away and learn a bit about insurance. You are an ***.

I think the troll has me blocked so perhaps someone would quote my post so he can read how much I love him.

Funny, you say "at the risk of more personal attacks" when you've done that very thing. What a hypocrite.

As for ratings of the carriers, with Med Supps it really doesn't make a huge difference. They all have to pay the same way. As for Family Life, we just got the notice this week about their annual rate increases here in Georgia. Are you sitting down? Oh my goodness they are 8% on Plans F & G. Can you believe a carrier could have 8% rate increases? (sarcasm). Let's revisit this next year to see what Loyal American's rate increases will be.

So for you, Loyal American is better than United of Omaha or United World because they are better rated financially? Last time I checked A+ was better than A-. Family Life is B+ and Philadelphia American is B++, New Era is B+, Gerber is A and GPM Life is A-.

I hope I come across some of those whom you've sold a plan that is $20-$30 more expensive than the other carriers. It will be like shooting fish in a barrel.

Lastly, I love your last sentence. "After I get more experience and have been in the business a while". My friend, I've been in the business since May of 1989. That's 18 years longer than you. Come back to me in 2028 when you reach 21 years and we'll compare notes. Of course I'll have 39 years experience at that point. You'll never catch me in the experience department.

Like I said before, you do what you need to do to justify screwing over clients to line your pockets. What goes around comes around.

Sman,

At the risk of more personal attacks I am going to try and put all this together for you and other people so they can do a better job of choosing a med supplement for their client. You and many others seem to think it is your only duty is to place your client into the lowest cost provider, this is not correct most of the time. I think you may have even suggested we get out of the business at one point because we do not do this all the time. To place something correct one needs to consider the financial ratings of companies and loss ratios to come up with the best choice for a person. Example you posted family life a few times. You should look at their ratings and loss ratios also look at how and who is distributing the product. Ritter is not the master on this it is another company and they work with lower rated companies. Many people will not place a client with a company like family life because they have saw (they have saw? really?) what happens in the future with companies like this and know it is very very likely the customer is going to get hit with massive increases in the near future because of the poor rating and loss ratios. It will likely me huge 20+ and then you have a trapped customer if their health is not good in many cases or a limited choice when this happens. So I recommend one to chose all companies that are within 20-30 bucks of each other then look at the above make a more educated choice for your client and it will benefit them much more if a agent will take the time and do this. You will see this after you get more experience and have been in the business for a while.

Jim, it was you who was on the wrong side of the discussion and I believe most everyone here knows that. I have no idea who moved it. Would you like some cheese with your "whine"?

LOL those 2 childish post are just the kind of example that would be of great concern to me if I was the owner/administrator of this site it is really uncalled for and takes all credibility away from the posters that put that kind of stuff up and also hurts the credibility of our board.

Pretty certain that all your recuiting hurts your credibility. I think the board will gain a great deal of credibility by asking you politely to go away.
