I do 98% of my business over the phone, when a customer is ready to buy I offer to mail(with prepaid return postage) or email the application documents for them to print sign and return. I am wondering, for those customers who are comfortable using computers does anyone have experience using services like Docusign to have the client complete the application?
I understand that there are plenty of carriers with E-Apps or Telephone apps however some of them do not require the customer to complete any signatures on their end. Take the Manhattan Life E-App, I take the app with them on the phone, submit it to Manhattan and Manhattan calls customer to confirm application. Under some circumstances this is favorable, however I have found that quite a few of my customers would rather see and read the documents they are signing before they sign them. I am thinking that the docusign service my be a good alternative to the old "email, print, sign, fax back" model.
