For those of you who sell med supps, I have a question. I know some of you cross sell final expense to your clients. But let me ask, how many of those clients are good candidates for annuities as well. Is it possible to sell a med supp, save them some money and sell them a small FE policy and then find out they have a CD they are not happy with and then transfer to an annuity?

Of course they may be canidates for Annuities...One way of getting into it instead of just replacing a cd would be to discuss income planning with them. At that point you find out what they have where it is what it is earning and how its taxed explain that it may be possible to increase the tax efficiancy of their accounts ore use bonuses etc to provide more income....

But be careful to make sure state laws do not affect you...My State passed a law making it illegal to cross sell on an appointment, illigal to door knock for appointments and other things.....
