I do direct mail responders for LTCi and I get a lot of sick people that respond. From there I refer them to a lawyer friend and I roll over as much money as I can to annuities. They do the medicaid planning and I get the annuity commish. That way a lead is not wasted and these people can get some type of asset protection. Pretty cool.

I do agree with you, LTCi first. If that doesn't go through then I try a SPWL hybrid product. If that falls through, they still need a plan so medicaid planning it is. It is a viable last resort.

Very well spoken, you said what I have felt eloquently. Folks really don't get it regarding Medicaid. Once they understand they know they don't want to go down that path. many times the issue of becoming medicaid eligible is inspired by heirs.
