I did as suggested and searched 'Parker' on this forum. Got pretty much the information that I feared, unfortunately.
Anyway, I have my next question which will telegraph what I've been doing:
Has anyone on this forum received back-end commissions on 2009 Medicare Advantage plans?
To clarify, I have been told that CMS changed the comp structure for the 2009 season; I have no reason to disbelieve that.
I have also been told that advances are paid on enrollments at 50% until CMS determines that the enrollee is a first timer in a Part C plan. If they determine that the enrollment was a 'like to like' switch, the 50% advance would be the entire commission.
If the enrollee is a first timer, the back-end 50% is released.
Well, this has been going on since November 15 and there have been no dispositions coming from my FMO (guess who?).
So, I repeat: are any of you in a similar situation, and if so, has anything been resolved?
