This is so dumb but I'm sure it makes you feel better We are PRODUCERS. Not customer service or claims reps. Most of the "information" you post doesn't relate to how we put food on the table.

A trusted advisor, cares about industry news.

A salesman, only cares about making a sale.

One of those two is easily replaced.

Such a strawman. But put money on somarco having a bigger BoB than me since you're so sure of yourself.

And spamming insurance forums with irrelevant articles does not make one a trusted advisor. It obviously impresses some though.

Just out of curiosity, what are you looking to accomplish? Are you wanting to change this person's mind? Are you wanting them to not post articles on here? What are you looking to get accomplished? It seems like you're just wanting to fight.

What is the purpose of the article posted? What's the purpose of posting an article on the IRA? Or medical gaslighting? Or the "I am not your doctor" thread?

What is the purpose of these posts? What value do they provide any of us with assisting beneficiaries with their insurance coverage??

Are you wanting to change this person's mind?

From time to time prospects have changed their mind and bought a plan/carrier I suggested over one they had in mind.

Taking an argumentative stance never worked for me. Asking questions and listening to their answers works almost all the time.

No one likes to be lectured, criticized or ridiculed. For some agents, that is the only way they know to make a sale.

I don't make sales or "get deals" (always hated that phrase). But yet I am successful by my own standards and goals in collecting new clients who stay on the books for years.

Collecting and counting scalps is not the way I measure my book. My client portfolio is limited geographically by design and my only product is Medigap. This keeps my clients happy and makes both our lives simple.

They know they can call or email anytime, including nights and weekends, and I will get back to them in due time. Sometimes it is the same day, others get a response by the next business day.

My agency is a boutique with personalized service, informed answers and never any pressure to buy.

I freely share information on this forum and other formats, never asking or expecting anything in return.

Bruh! Don't look at them. It's like the homeless guy on the corner you know is not homeless, but you still just drive along. You will be happier in life if you stop caring about some stuff.
