Medicare.gov

Are PDP plans different premiums in different areas even though they're the same plan? I show Saver Plus as going from $26 to $28.

What about the stars? Are the area-specific as well?

I thought premium is usually the same all around

Premiums can vary by region.

The traffic must be an overload - anyone else getting held up at dif stages in plan finder?

I have yet to get through to the plans.

Your not using an AOL dial up account are you? - just kidding.

It's been working fine for me but I noticed medicare.gov doesn't offer an option to email results to a friend option anymore or I just haven't been able to find it for the last 6 months. Now I have to email drug list password to prospect and hope they can figure out how to navigate the website to see the results if the prospect is not available at the time to walk them through it.

Print the results as a PDF and email direct to the client. I never knew there was an email option on the site and have been saving and emailing to the client for years.

Exactly. With Chrome you can just save to .pdf without having a .pdf printer, which is nice.

Also, if you have an iPad and you are in a prospect's home... You can use an app called Web to pdf. It's a browser which let's you convert any page to .pdf instantly... Email to client right there... Upload to your CRM... I can make the page a pdf and attach it to client or lead in Zoho in a few seconds.

I've been sending them in the bodies of an email by using Ctrl A and then paste into the body of the email. On another note, what dollar amount do you guys use to suggest a switch? Do you look if current plan is in top 3 or 5 still?

Smart on the PDF save...how are you saving off Chrome to PDF. I know you can right click and print to PDF and then just change the file name, but I assume there is a better way.

There is more than likely a better way, but I'm basically doing it the way you described. In Chrome, print, save as .pdf.

Except I'm not changing the file name. I'm overwriting the previous pdf. They mostly come up as "Your Medicare Health Plan Details" so once it's saved as .pdf to a folder on the desktop, I upload it to the zoho lead/client file. Once it's uploaded to the client's zoho, I don't need it on the desktop anymore.

Only time I change the name is if I'm doing multiple printouts on the same person - i.e., comparing 2 HMO's, etc.
