1) Part A deductible is per benefit period which can be every 90 days or earlier for a different illness...so you can have a lot of Part A deductible charges in a year, for a chronic illness
2) Part A is mainly for room & board hospital stay, you can have a lot of Part B claims in a hospital..which would be subject to the 20% coinsurance.
So to say one pays “better” than the other is not possible to compare.
