Medicare supplement options for man with bi-polar (has had for over 15 years)

Is there any medigap carrier that will accept a man with bipolar disease? he's had it over 15 years and it is under control. not having much luck here

How many meds is he on for bipolar? Any psychiatric care in the last 3 years? Try Prosperity

Without knowing these answers, companies that will even accept bipolar...Any Aetna or Aetna administered Med Supp, ACE, Manhattan Life, Federal Life.

This will come down to the exclusion list. Each carrier publishes these. As long as no meds on these - he should be good to go as long as he's not constantly in/out if the hospital. If you need help locating the lists I'm happy to assist you.
