MEGA Bbanned from RI for 3 Years

A news item that appeared today in the IFAenews update states that Rhode Island has banned MEGA from selling insurance in that state for three years and imposed an aggregate $2.3 million restitution to small business owners in that state for excessive premiums, "improperly" denied health care claims, and excessive subscriber fees. MEGA will also pay a $225,000 penalty to the state.
