VolAgent: That's an interesting question that I should have a well-thought out answer to. Unfortunately, I don't. My target market, at this point, is people who have some money and who would like to buy life insurance. I'm not being flippant, I just really don't have a better idea. I'm very new to this; I have a passion for finance and financial planning, but that's about all I have (aside from a pretty good education, and a willingness to work and learn by trying).
I'm now committed to coming up with a more defined idea of who my market is!
Sounds like you could use some guidance from Nick Perry at the Independent Life Insurance Agent Association - ILIAA. He has training on identifying a target a target market and just about anything else a new agent would need. Nick's number is 404-660-1020.
