Here's an idea that might just be crazy enough to work, sell both of them.
Jd, we both know that's just the beer talking. Why on earth would you want to represent more than one company?
Matt, I thought you worked for MGA....You only have one company....He owns it....

Monumental by a long shot. More liberal underwriting by far., offering Std rating immediate coverage to COPD and other health situations that no other companies will touch with Immediate Coverage. No ht and wt chart, No PHI, better with Diabetics, their the best for BiPolor cases, you can write out the meds they use on the supp app to clarify the use of meds, underwrites are accessible for a "pre screen risk assessment". You can write ages 0-85 (which is helpful)
The commissions pay out quicker if you're going to be advanced. Forethought pays you 7 days AFTER the effective date. If you're just getting started in this business, that extra week means a lot in regards of getting your next round of leads ordered.
Better website, better customer service. they have a nice 10 pay option. You can write a graded product for oxygen use, and receive full compensation. They do take Money orders and direct billing if its over $75 a month. You will receive your Trails in months 2-12 instead of 10-12. I personally like this, I know some people don't, but if you're just getting started, getting paid quicker can help. I could keep going, but I need to go work.
In defense of Forethought, I don't write Preneed. I have read on this forum they do have a good preneed product.

I'll agree with most of what was said Isalmans AND JD. Monumental has a lot of advantages but why choose one?
I would have both PLUS you need someone that is good with insulin which neither of these companies is.
Take Monumental, ForeThought and 5-Star and you have a winning combo.
There is no single company that is going to be good in ALL situations. But if you could only have one...Monumental would be one of the better choices.
