The Living Promise product seems to be competitive with other A rated products that do not require an interview (like Americo or Monumental / Transamerica).

Has your experience with them been positive or negative?

How often have your clients been called for interviews?

Would you, or have you, made them one of your go-to products?

I would not. There are other companies that truly do not require a phone interview. They will not call. Not this crazy Maybe thing these companies do. Plus S Star uw is much more relaxed.
If your not with 5Star yet it are interedted in other companies let me know. You can send me your contact info if you would like to discuss contracts

You're going to need to work on your grammar, punctuation, and spelling before you may offer contracts...according to forum rules.

Lol that's what you get when you send it from your phone. But thanks, oh wait, that may not be proper grammer.

Thank you for the insight on 5 Star...

But my question was about experience specifically with the Living Promise product and Mutual's underwriting of it.

5 Star is a great company - and has an interesting strategy of you can choose or not choose to do an interview program. Yes in many instances they are less than other companies but at this point they can't even answer the phone.

But again, I am hoping to get insight from people who have been using Living Promise.

Does anyone know if the living promise product is first day coverage or not. I am looking for those words and i cant find them anywhere. Im kind of scared to sell it because i can't find if they offer first day coverage or not.

Living Pormise has both a level, first-day coverage and a graded version that returns premium and interest in the first two years for a non-accidental death. The first set of questions on the application (in Massachusetts) a "yes" answer is uninsurable. A "yes" in the second set puts the insured into the graded policy.

Have not looked at the product but your description is of a ROP not Graded policy. A graded policy pays a percentage of death benefit such as 30% year 1 70% year 2 and 100% year 3.
