Mutual of Omaha - Living Promise

I'm getting more and more agents using them for this very reason.
At one time that was not a good thing in this area. I contracted with MOO in 1977. Attended their training school in Miami. At that time, their lead product was a blue collar DI plan. Came back worked two weeks and then returned my supplies to the GA.. Seemed like everyone I spoke with had either had a claim denied or their Brother-in-law had a claim denied or their brother-in-law's brother had a claim denied. True, everybody had heard of them but none of what they had heard was good.

Sounds like AFLAC here a few years ago. I dont know what they are up to now though. :1arghh:

But Moo offers the discounted lead program with the Legacy program, and it is a first class system. The lead letters/cards are attractive and professional, everybody has heard of them, and the rates here are less than many of the others. Easy app, although longer than some. The rate calculator includes accidental benefits with the premium. Winflex will allow me to go in and do an professional quote illustration, for those who need more than 1 visit to close. Comp is great. The only thing that puzzles me is why they will not go up to 50K like MonLife. Other than that, I have no complaints.

Does anyone know how this product is doing in Georgia?

I don't know how many agents are using Moo with Legacy in this area. I do know there are several career agents here and out of the agency in Columbia,SC. They are doing extremely well, but mainly in the traditional markets with mortgage leads.

I just picked them up last month and looking forward to doing more with them. I sell more of the underwritten life, though, because they are lenient with some conditions. I am hoping the same holds true for the FE. I still have to have Monlife for O2 and Equitable for diabetes. I have been afraid to send a diabetic to Moo just yet, even though I understand they will cover insulin up to 70 units.

If I have a contract with United of Omaha can I also get a contract to sell the moo product?

If you're referring to Living Promise, it IS with United of Omaha, as are all their life products... while they issue health/disability through the name Mutual of Omaha. I think (at least for myself) we typically just refer to United/Mutual of Omaha as a collective MOO.
