My Dad is Bored in Retirement Already

My dad has retired and un-retired many times in the past 15 years. He's driving me nuts!
He has recently moved to Tucson and transferred his Allstate EFS contract there. Turns out, he can't be retired and an EFS at the same time! So, Allstate threw him out. He still wants to work and be busy 3 days a week.
My thought is to set him up with some FE carriers and do a mail drop.
Does anyone have any experience in Tucson? Will I be wasting my money? I'm thinking, because of the demographics, he shouldn't have a problem getting in front of people.
Ideas on carriers to start with?

I have been told from an IMO previously that mail returns were great in Tucson (consistently higher than 2%). That was a couple years ago so take it with a grain of salt. Pretty good demographic.

Your Dad sounds pretty competent- I would have him talk with someone from FEX, 360 or Todd King

Just curious, but why do you keep on digging on someone that you don't know?

I don't know him personally, but Ken said he sent a guy to Ben and Ben decided to put him under Ken since Ken deserved it.

What about the agent? Is he ok with getting lower comp to go under a guy that was failing just 2 months ago?

If that's true, Ben is worthless in my book also. If it's not true then Ken is a liar, which is possible also.

Yes, I read that too. What if Ben increased Ken's contract in order to give the other agent a good one?

I happen to know Ben. He's a stand up guy. Sells good business and has quite a few agents who are successful as well. Of course, I only know of part of what his agency sells, not all of it.

Matt has just gotten to where he lives to put other people down. I don't understand his mentality anymore. He actually used to be of some help, but not anymore. All he does is put others down. It's just gotten to the point that he's just disgusting.

It's hard to be humble when you're the greatest third baseman that ever lived.
