My Experience with Autodialer, should I Continue?

Obviously you need to scrub against the DNC but from personal experience you're always gonna hit people who state they're on the DNC even if you're calling small biz owners.

I've never had any issue with being polite, apologizing, stating I will remove their name and going on with my life.

You have to be a pretty big a****** to actually pursue a telemarketer in court for a single call. I have a feeling the people who will take action against you are people you're nasty, smug or rude to or people you call again after they warn you.

Word to the wise, if you contract through any third party service that either makes the calls or provides a list you're ultimately on the hook.

The problem here is since you are paying per transfer, the people who are complaining to you are also costing you money, even though I'm sure there is a press 9 to be taken off our list option up front.

All said, you are making money.

I wish California only had 16 area codes :( The five free I view as a gift, beyond that, it's an expense of doing business. I only worry about the 5 local area codes around me, there are enough numbers there to keep me busy for a while :)

Here's my dilemma, the other morning I turned the dialer back and my first 6 contacts or so, said they were on the DNC and wanted my name, company name, and phone number...would you dial the last bunch?

Please tell me you're not sincerely asking this. Register for SAN in the area code you're calling. Lookup the 6. If they are on the DNC just ask whoever provided you with the dialer services to refund you the remaining transfers if they told you the list was scrubbed as it clearly was not...once you've researched it.

Broadcasting right now is edgy enough, broadcasting to people on the DNC is crazy.

Actually, I was asking. You know, you would have been much better help if you didn't start out so condescending. Oh well!!!

Actually I did just what you mentioned before I had a chance to read your post, but thanks for the advice.

If you are buying the leads from a source - then the source is the liable party for DNC violations - not you.
