I see. So we were just having a general conversation about immigrants?
Regardless of how the topic arose, you made uplifting statements about how immigrants had benefitted new jersey and the educational level of immigrants was higher too.
I simply asked whether you had data on illegal immigrants.
From there the crabwalk and hyper-defensiveness began. Hey, if you don't know or the data detracts from your attempt to use data for all immigrants to portray a peppier picture for illegals - then just say so.
If you want to say "hey the educational level for illegals sucks" but I know you guys are just having an academic discussion about immigrants in general, then do that. We are used to seeing you off in la-la land while the conversation is focused on something else.
Personally, since your comment arose in response to a video of rioting in Germany, I am thinking it was about inundations by illegals, or hastily accepted legal refugees. Not just computer programmer from India going to silicon valley. But hey, that's just me. Maybe others see that video of the mob scenes and think that there is just a general discussion of immigrants.
You have own special little world going there if you do.
So all you are telling me is your ability to interpret my response to Fex is flawed. We all know this common to you.
So I shall explain, as I try to be patient with the ignorant. Fex posted a video of riots in Germany by immigrants and asked if I wanted this in NJ, specifically Trenton and Camden. I responded back with the facts that NJ has an excellent, thriving and contributing immigrant population. We have not had immigrants rioting in NJ. As a matter of fact, quite the opposite.
Where you construed there is a relevant point about illegal crime data being necessary to the conversation is your business, but it has nothing to do with the original topic or where the conversation was going.
So with that I will tell you the same thing I told you last time, if you have a point to make then make it.
But, if your goal is to change the subject to make an argument on grounds you feel safe discussing, don't expect me to follow you down that path just because you're insecure about topics beyond your narrow point of view.
