First mistake never sell at the door. One thing you could try is "has anyone been by to show you how to get free insurance" then proceed to show him once your in the door.

If someone tried that "free insurance" BS with me at my door they better be quicker than me and leave before I could throw them off my property.

That's as bad as a telemarketer starting the conversation with "how are you today?".

I skipped over all the standard stuff in my story, for brevity. ..
These are B leads, and a rebirth letter goes out.
So this guy had been presented before and also got a letter that I was coming by.

As soon as he saw the lead card in my hand, he wasn't letting me in.

Best part is, tonight I did had luck with the Colonial Penn close.

The only thing that can overcome stupid is to develop trust. Hard to develop trust when you show them how stupid they are up front. IMO.
