Need a New Firm

After over 1 year in the business I have made the decision that I need to leave the Firm I am with. 1st year was not too bad I guess, wrote over 80k in premium, not great, but not horrible for a 1st year agent.

The reason I am leaving is no support whatsoever, no help period. I realize that this is the type of industry that it is your own business, and you have to market business and all.

I used to get in house leads, orphans and what not. not any more, also no marketing support. no help with questions, nothing, It is a complete joke, management is non-existent.

I am looking to move to another carrier, as a full time agent.

What I am looking for is some sort of support in terms of help with advanced markets, marketing programs, in house leads.

I was thinking about Metlife.

does anyone have any suggestions.

What markets are you in or want to be in?

I do a lot of Life and Annuity buisness and would like to stay in this area, I do very little DI and LTC, which is fine with me.

I just now it is time to move on, things at my firm have not been good, down right terrible, not just for me but also our 2 biggest producers just left. 7 figure kind of guys.

I don't know were to go though, What is a good company with excellent support and infastructure to actually have a chance at making it in this buisness.

Feel free to email me and I can put you into contact with some people who have helped me a lot. [email protected] I would highly suggest you become an independent. It takes a little more risk but the rewards are great if you work it right. I tried a lot of stuff before I figured out what I was doing (probably still do not know what I am doing! ha). Shoot me an email and we can chat.
