I am recently licensed (again) in Florida and would love to get into life insurance sales. As a complete newb in this industry, I am looking for advice on how to get started with a good mentor in my area (Ft. Lauderdale).
This forum has been amazing in educating me on which companies to stay away from, but not so much on a good place to start.
I am currently working in a call center selling short-term and limited indemnity over the phone. The money I am making is great but, having experience with selling ACA plans, i'm finding difficult to sleep at night selling these products.
As I said before, I would love to get into selling life insurance and have the opportunity to offer products that I believe are in the best interest of my future clients.
Any advice on someone in the Ft. Lauderdale area selling life insurance and willing to train a new guy would be greatly appreciated.
