Hey everyone,

I began networking today with some mortgage pros and realestate agents. I'm still new to insurance industry bye the way. I did exchange some information and business cards. I want to send thank you emails to the agents that i met. Anyone got any sample emails I can send them without sounding desperate. Also, I need a sample email to send to the ones I didn't have the opportunity to meet but have their emails and business cards. Thanks.

Figure out a way to do something/provide information or a service for the folks you're looking to get referrals from. For example... "I provide same day quotes and binders for closings", "attached is an interesting article on flood insurance". Do something, provide a service that others don't on a consistant basis and eventually you'll earn referrals from other professionals. Good luck.

Something that worked for me bring donuts and/or coffee as an ice breaker when you go to the offices to introduce yourself. Then when you write your follow up emails you can refer to yourself as the donut guy/girl they usually will be able to link the two.

Good Luck and good selling!

Thanks guys for the advice i will try some of these techniques when i do some networking

personally, i'd gather testimonials from anyone they refer and include them in with the referral gift i send after each referral....building credibility...and letting them know that i helped their referral
