Neuropathy, Type II Diabetes, FE Options?

I'm looking at the Heritage Protector...the Legacy must've been before I picked them up.

I went back to the app again and I see the question you are referring to.. But you should have a part 2 following question 12.. I agree, they must have made a mistake on the offer.. I was looking at the complications of Diabetes question and totally overlooked the "combination" question.. Maybe they did the same?

----------

Think I will go back to cancer insurance.. Most apps are pretty straightforward.. "have you had cancer?" .. Yes or no.. sign here..

They don;'t seem to be grouping Neuropathy with complications of Diabetes. You can have Neuropathy without having Diabetes.

Yep, I was looking at a UA Med Supp app from about 20 years ago and they didn't even ask about Diabetes. Very few health questions. All apps are tougher now. On the Cancer apps, they not only ask about Cancer...but they ask about AIDS/HIV.

Yeah, and some go even farther than that. Wash. Nat. asks abut "pre cancerous" conditions.. But most don't ask that.

I remember it being easy to memorize Med Supp premiums. Seems like there were 3 age bands and smoker/non smoker rates. No Zips. It was so much simpler back in the stone age.

And the miracle time/money saving thermal paper fax was invented! Had to get one or be outdated.

For the record, this is from the UHL website as it relates to their application question:

Neurological Disorder: Includes Multiple Sclerosis (MS), neuropathy including diabetic neuropathy, Parkinson's, Transient Ischemic Attack (TIA).
Thanks! Can't be guessing, it's all happy til the claim. Haven't had one contested yet, don't want to.

Don't know where you are located but if you are located in a state Trinity isnt in, like me (FL) then go TA. They will take it and go up to 50k on some age bands 40k on others. The only downside of TA, as everyone already knows, they are a pain in the @ss to deal with....
