Iam in Michigan. Looking to sell commercial lines, Iam green but a good salesman and very good in relationships. What is a reasonable base plus commission start up.

There are too many variables to answer that. It all depends upon what a company offers. Base is not something that is offered with many companies.

Post your questions in the "Getting Started" section or the "Introductions" section. Lots of agents on this board comment on those forums often, just because they like helping out a newbie. Before you post your question, look around in those forums and also in the "General Insurance" forum, because a lot of new agents ask the very questions you will be asking.
