New Life and Health Texas Agent: Starving

I'm talking about their career agent side, not the lead division.

Do you know anyone who worked that program?

Doesn't matter. Why work for someone unprofessional?

I hear Parker has rebranded his company and offers a career path. Any takers?

I work Health and MA in North DFW. Mostly Denton, Dallas, and Colling Counties. I live North of Frisco.

1. How many people in Frisco are going to buy MAPD?
2. Same issue with Denton County. I get the 30% MA penetration, but you are in an area that hears the word HMO and panics. Literally. (I'm in North Dallas)
3. Stop buying leads. Start networking. Build a website and drive traffic to it via FB. Everyone you know (and everyone they know) should be aware that Patch is selling Health Insurance to people over 65 and under 65.
4. Don't limit yourself to MAPD. Get appointed with some Med Supp carriers.
5. Most controversial answer: Stop worrying about who is paying you for SEP's. It takes an hour to sell someone an Indy policy. Give them what they want and you will get the commission in 2017. I'm guessing you aren't that busy anyway that you can't spare an hour for a future client that is going to pay $400/year. (TX average for an Indy policy)
6. If you want to do FE, go for it. It will help your cash flow situation until Feb, when we get paid on the 2017 Indy policies
7. 99% of the agents are starving the 1st year in the business. Hang in there!
