HA HA!!!! Well, there's plenty of that! But i don't think i wanna see the boobs of a 75yr old female diabetic smoker!!!!

What too much wrinkle and sag for you :) I meant the college coeds I thought all people did during Marti Gras was collect beads and show off tits...

If you can't through the streets you may want to work a different area and put a note on your calendar to avoid the area this time next year.

Sell enough final expense insurance and you'll get to see them, Mardi Gras or not.[/QUOTe

Re work the November and December leads in January.

Like Rearden, my December was pretty good, using the same model. Only worked the first two weeks. Work it like a three week month.

As others have suggested work a different area outside of NO. I wrote $2,500.00+ in LA in Dec. Probably 6-7 cases there in the last twelve months. Seems like a nice FE area.

Jd is 100% correct in his acessment of working in December. If you expect to fail you proably will. The last three years I didnt do worth a crap in December. If you let people put you off until January in all likelyhood they will have a new reason to blow you in January.

This year I told myself to not let them off the hook until January without a fight. I worked 5 days in December and wrote 14 or 15 policies.

In my past experience most of the people who put you off until January will not buy. You still have to work them but most of them do not pan out, for me anyways.

^^This is true. For the most part the people that put you off in Dec becaujse of the holidays will have another reason in Jan to put you off. I say for the most part because some are legitimate buyers that just can't find a time to meet. As time goes on you just learn which ones are legit and which ones are excuse makers.

It's the same all year with the non buyers that are going to call you back. I get about 10 callbacks a year. Now, my experience is that 100% of the callbacks buy but you can't count on those. Move on when they don't buy and just have gravy when they do call back.

The FE market is all about procrastinators. They are world class at that. That is what most FE agents never learn. These folks did not get to be 60-80 years old and not have their funerals taken care of because they have been good with money or good planners. They have put decisions off all their lives.

The holidays just gives them an extra excuse.

Wow, thanks Jdeasy. I also listened to your audio today and found lots of info. I really like this forum, because the experienced agents don't seem to mind helping out and educating lesser experienced agents!

BTW, i also thought your name was "J Deasy" like a hip hop name or something!!!

^^^ Only when he bust a rap or 2 with LiL Wayne!
