New to P&C Commission Question.

I got an offer from an independent agency and they want to pay me 50% commission off of 15%. Then later raise that up a bit. Is that fair? Good?

Great support but no salary and no leads. I will be telemarketing for clients and some door knocking.

I would rather open my own agency, get ownership. and a 90% split of New and renewal. Get 40+ Overrides and Bonuses. Personally.
