How long ago was it when it was like $2 a gallon?

I can remember when you could get either lead or unlead gas. It was about .88 a gallon.

I just can't believe that I'm excited to see gas $3.18 . The govt has me brainwashed into thinking that is a good price for gas.

I used to roll up to those pumps on my 1st Sears mini-bike which held 2 pints of gas. The pumps were full service and the guy would get real pissed every time we pulled up. I think he was actually inside putting brakes on cars and stuff and has to stop for the big sale.

Those were the days!
