New Visitors Spamming the Site

One of the more annoying things about this site is logging in first thing in the morning and seeing some dickbrain leaving a trail of meaningless posts scattered over the forum.

Today I was greeted by hermantaylorr.

Is there any way to limit newly registered members to something like 5 posts in the first 48 hours? Herman only has 20, all nonsense, but I have seen others that leave behind more than that.

Or maybe I just woke up grumpy this morning.

He got to 20 posts, then stopped. I think he's from India the way he worded his sentences. I left him one silly response.

I just report one post and leave it to the mods.

New guys spam the forum with 20 posts. I've seen some people here post 50-100 times a day.

Dan, I do the same thing. Just get's old and limiting first time posters might get rid of some of that crap.
