A lot of my clients are from the five boroughs and the two companies that we usually place them with are progressive and farmers insurance. Insurance in NYC is crazy expensive, but if you can afford not to use public transportation, then you can pay the high premium.

I thought farmers only want to appoint captive agents.. How are you able to get a code as a broker?

$2500? It varies..I'm writing all the crap the Allstate agents throw me..but the ones I can write on my own with good credit and homeowners..about $1200
