No Medicare, Over 65

You can always look at doing some kind of indemnity plan. I know its not "real insurance", but its something. GTL has some pretty good products in that arena for those over 65

So sad... I had a lady today ask if she could drop that 96 buck plan (Medicare Part B).

Seems she doesn't like her AARP MA zero premium plan with a 20% out-patient surgery bill.:laugh::laugh:

What about these poor people who can't afford real insurance? :err:

She can apply for assistance through her state to get help wthe Medicare Part B Premium----at least in PA.

arnguy,

Guess I should of used a different word other than "poor". As in poor whiner :goofy:!

This lady has too much money, and doesn't like having to pay for her Part B premium. Whine, whine, whine, :twitchy: don't ya love some of these people?

I agree. Just like the prospects I have talked to. They have a $350,000 + home, sitting on several hundred acres, a new John Deer tractor and combine and tell me that they think a Med Supp for $125 per month is too expensive because, after all, they are on a "fixed income" you know.

I have never talked to a farmer who wasn't "broke" and five minutes away from having to live on cat food.
