After every app I always get a email from bcbs saying application submitted. This last week I've submitted 11 & haven't received anything & on the track application status doesn't show up. The only place I see it is in the cart for the customer & it says its submitted & in process & it has my name on it to. Is anybody else experiencing this.

Yes. Gotta submit the aor form after client gives you their new polic number. Pain. Another in a growing list of bcbs il snafus.

And read the fine print boys....clients obtained via AOR don't count for the bonus. Ain't that special :)

Normally I don't care about bonus, but my AOR list is at 50 and counting. That's $1250!

Just got off the phone with one of yesterday's applicants. He printed the bcbs-il application pages just before submitting each one. My name is on each. In his shopping account, the app shows as "submitted" with my name as his agent. Yet he appears nowhere in my online listing of pending applicants.

Not receiving the $25 bonus for AOR explains why several of my new-to-bcbs clients didn't generate a bonus on this month's statement. Thanks for pointing that out KGMom. As you say...it adds up..especially when you consider that commissions are so low now. The entries next to many clients on the statement shows a larger bonus than the commission.

This "convenient" omission of the agent will generate a lot of extra revenue that HCSC and BCBS-IL-TX-OK, etc.. managers can use to upgrade the extended vacations they'll be taking after Open Enrollment ends. No Bonus payout + Some Agents Forgetting To Subit AOR's = More $$$ For Colored Co. Execs.

Have you also noticed the wording in their letters to clients who have a draft set up & draft fails?
They ask them to call the MARKETING Dept for assistance...NOT their agent.
They're working diligently to replace us.
I don't think it will save them any money.
But, apparently they DO.

Did another one this afternoon where BCBS sent the usual "Joe Doe has started an application and entered you as their agent." notification e-mail. Yet I never received the "Joe Doe has submitted an application with you as the writing agent." e-mail after we submitted it.

Like the others, Joe Doe is not showing up as a pending applicant either.

I'm not going to do the AOR while this error is occurring. Instead, with the initial notification e-mail and a snapshot of the applicant's shopping-cart showing you as the writing agent, that's all the evidence needed to obtain the $25 per app bonus. I'll talk to commissions about it next week and see what needs to be done. Will post the finding here. Getting through to commissions is EASY compared to the other colored company departments.

The plans on the exchange I'm not even receiving the client has submitted the application for this past week. Also you guys keep mentioning the $25.bonus I though that was for policies with a effective date of Jan 1st.

Looks like I'm not the only one having these problems. I thought I was going nuts. Last week I did about 11 apps & this week I will be doing about 10 & that's going to be a pain in the ass if I have to do AOR for all of them.

There's a second bonus. They did a snapshot on Nov 30. They will do another on May 1. Whatever the increase in contracts (with a minimum) is, we get a $25 bonus in July/August sometime
