Does anyone have any experience in getting their Business Entity (Agency) licensed as Non-Resident in NY? I am quite confused on their requirements. I am already licensed in as Non-Resident Individual in NY.
I asked the NY Insurance Department to Approve my name, which they did. but now they are telling me I must register my business in New York as well. I thought the whole reason for Non-Resident is so I don't have to register a business in NY.
Can anyone help walk me through this?
