Oh wise jbage - we can always get the lowdown from you. Now - isn't the health bill done and signed and on the internet? Don't we already KNOW what will happen? Why is there still so much conjecture about it? Is it because THEY will actually CHANGE it for the worse - do a Bait and Switch, a sleight of hand and anything else you want to call it? WILL they actually do this??? Please explain to we who know not what they do!!!

And for those of us who are just beginning -do you suggest a wait and see before we invest any more time and money into the health insurance business? Your advice please

Why is my GA so NOT saying this? Seriously - main reason for your answer - health exchanges are the future? no commissions? not a viable business anymore? Say it aint so Jbage!

Because your GA only makes money if you sell. It is in your GAs best interest to keep you selling products through him as long as he can. If he is health only, it doesn't make sense for him to tell you to diversify your lines of business.

Thanks for the insight and it makes sense. Something I thought about although my GA is encouraging me to diversity and even offering a referral program. He does cover all lines of business.
