By late Thursday morning, some big questions will be answered.

However, by late Thursday afternoon, it will feel like more questions than answers are remaining as people think about the implications.

Tis the nature of the beast. There is no cleaning a mess like that up in a couple sweeps. It is the turd that will keep on giving. Probably one of the biggest and sloppiest programs and legislative fiasco's in American history.

What a mess.

But hopefully all here will remain of good cheer and look forward to November to finish any unfinished business, whatever that might be- and unless you are complete *** you do know what that would be.

The WH has already come one sentence away from saying that the decision will be irrelevant and it's all systems go.

Pelosi and crew will break out the duct tape and bondo.

what are the chances of our dear leader jusr executive ordering all providions to remain in place? Yes, i know... he cant.... but.... ccaann heeee?

He could say something like... "Im doing it because its just the right thing to do"

There is not much chance of that because the lower courts will enforce actions consistent with the Supreme Court's ruling.

However, there is an area though I think where your concern comes into play bigtime. Even if the court shot down everything there are parts of Obamacare that are already in effect or in motion to be implemented. When the Court makes a decision on something that simply needs to stop then the order is for it to stop period. But usually the court recognizes that some things cannot be implemented (whether starting up or shutting down) overnight and allows the parties to submit a timetable and plan for compliance. So that you can transition people on programs and figure out how you are going to get from point A to B. So for example if children are on their parents policies to age 26 you dont terminate it tomorrow without giving them a chance to figure something out. Things like that.

What I am saying is that a president resisting the spirit of a court decree (as we have seen in many areas) can be problematic as they try to drag things out to hold out for some legislation or something. I dont know. Just sayin, there needs to be some implementation of the court order and I expect that will cause a bunch of cases in the lower courts by parties saying they do have to do X,Y, or Z even though the government is still expecting them to do so.

Pretty much goes with the turf.

What a mess.

Winter, exactly what Obama wants, mass confusion. Isn't this what democracy looks like in his worldview? Messy, angry, upheaval of all markets, including health, so he can take over with commie tactics? Hes right on target.

I see more questions than answers also..........24 hrs from now.

That's why I'm doubling my consulting fees between now and November election. Mass confusion requires professional opinions.

As an independent broker, I'm charging consulting fees now for everybody who calls me about health insurance. This is a total clusterfrick. Obama style...Its all cool because hes spending your childrens dimes, and he could give a shiat.

The turd that keeps on giving. LOL nice.
On SIMA, I predicted that it would "probably" be overturned. It's very strange how FEW predictions or rumors there are, anywhere.... a few have said that the delay is a good sign. I hope that's true. 12 hours to wait.

Is anyone keeping their morning free tomorrow? I'll be glued to the TV and ScotusBlog until the decision and during initial reactions.

It will be interesting to see how the Supreme Court rules on the "Severability" issue. Since noone on the planet understands the entire ACA, how can the justices determine if the mandate can be killed without causing the entire bill to un-ravel. They'll probably just take the easy route and either nullify the entire ACA, or let the entire ACA stand as is, IMO.
