Obuma and True Commission ?

Hi all,

I was talking to an agent friend of mine (who doesn't sell health...he sell medicare)....who told me that the commission scale for selling OBAMA plans (or those on the exchange) is measured by the amount of money that the INSURED actually pays?

EX.
Premium is $300 per mth. Insured is responsible for $25 a mth. His commission is (25*12=300*7%= $21)---- $21 bucks?

I can't believe that...and am waiting to hear back from one of the Reps at Humana.

Is this true?----Anyone know?

Not according to FB, we are paid on full premium, what the insured pays and what the govt pays = full premium.

Your friend is wrong we are paid on the whole premium. Now when we get paid on the subsidy side is another question.
