UnitedHealthcare, Individual On-Exchange

As it was recently announced, UnitedHealthcare will only be participating in a handful of states for the individual ACA market in 2017. At this time, we have filed to offer On-Exchange products in Nevada (Health Plan of Nevada, Inc.), New York (UnitedHealthcare of New York, Inc.), and Virginia (UnitedHealthcare of the Mid-Atlantic, Inc.). Additionally, we have filed to offer Harken Health Insurance products on a limited basis in Florida, Georgia and Illinois. The individual On-Exchange products filed for 2017, listed above, may not be available in all service areas within the states referenced.

No mention of off exchange plans.

Here is OFF Exch notice:

After a detailed review of our UnitedHealthcare Life Insurance Company (UHCLIC) Off-Exchange plans, we have determined that we will not offer UHCLIC individual Off-Exchange plans in 2017 except in the state of Utah. These changes reflect our longstanding goal to offer consumers products that are both affordable and financially sustainable.

If you have clients with 2016 UHCLIC Off-Exchange comprehensive medical plans, they will remain covered until Dec. 31, 2016,

Heads up....

The Off Ex notice specifically says they will be mailing letters to clients in the next few weeks. The On Ex notice doesn't address letters, but I would assume they will be also mailed.

Guess I'm drafting an email today. Yuk....

Yeah too much info to expect from them....Im guessing grandfathered plans are GONE as well ! Anyone want to place bets on this ?
