Ok guys what is working this year during enrollment????

Freedom 2, 1 is basically the same except the Max is $1000, but you have to pay everymonth.

Primary Physician..$15 Copay
Specialist and Podiatrist...$30 Copay

Diagnostics...20% Coinsurance

Laboratory Services...20% Coinsurance

Inpatient Hosp... $180 a day, days 1-5

Outpatient Surgery...20% Coinsurance

Emergency Room...$50 Copay

Urgent Care Visit...$50

Ambulance Services...20% Coinsurance (this is really a bad deal, hard to cover that one up best to just skim over this!)

Routine Vision & Hearing
Annual Exam...$30 Copay
Eyeglass...$100 per year
Hearing Aid Allowance...$100 per year

Preventive Dental

Cleanings and Checkups (semi annual)...%50 Coinsurance
X-Rays (Annual)...%50 Coinsurance

OOP Max is $3000, quite easy to get to if one has a bad year. Making Supplements very attractive, at leas they have a Max OOP.

I am provided leads from an FMO that purchased them, and passed them along to me to sell. The companies I am certified to sell are:

Universal Healthcare (Any, Any, Any Plan II - Zero Part B Premium)
Pyramid Premier Plus and Value Plus Plan
Coventry Advantra Freedom Plans

Right now, the leads we are receiving are for individuals who have incomes under $50K, so the Any, Any, Any Plan is the hot button. They do like the fact that the Part B (and Part D less penalty) is being paid for them.

What we were taught to drive home to them was the following pages of the Medicare and You 2007 Book:

In this order:

Page 104 "Do you know how much Medicare will be deducting from your SS Check next month?"

Page 33 and 35 "I want to assure you, you are NOT leaving Medicare, and you will still have the same rights and coverage, even enhanced, than you do now."

Page 41 "This plan will pay up to $93.50 back to you, for your Part B premiums and Prescription Drug coverage."

Page 99-J "This plan is approved by CMS to provide you this coverage."

As for the Telephone Script, this is what seems to work this week:

Hi, this is Bob Levine, may I speak with __________?

Mr./Mrs. ________, I was calling in response to a reply card you filled out, where you checked you wanted more information about the Medicare Advantage Plans for this upcoming year. I've got some very important information about these benefits, and how they will affect you. I'll be over in Tucker tomorrow, would 3 pm be good?

Before I stop by, let me just verify some information first:

Do you have Medicare Part A and B?
Do you also have Part D, the prescription Drug coverage?
Are you on Medicaid?
and lastly,
Are you on any company paid retirement plan?

Is there anyone who helps you make these types of decisions, that we need to include in the conversation?

Mr./Mrs. ________, write my name and number down. It's Bob Levine 770-374-4531.

The reason I don't use the words "switch" "change" or "new" is that they don't like change, and haven't responded well when I used that in my script. When you get there, sit next to them, and let them use your calculator, and write down on a pad of paper how much they will pay for 2007. Once they see it, you've won 3/4 of the battle. Just don't talk your way out of a sale.

Freedom 1 and Freedom 2 are PFFS Freedom has 0 Copays on everything except 50 dollar emergency room, 150 ambulance ride and 50% on dental and vision services.

You sure about that? Maybe you should put that crack pipe up? :D

I really hope a CMS 'mystery shopper' does not call you about these plans...

Why would I worry about a mystery shopper?

James you are correct on your itamization of the benefits in Freedom 2
Often time I am responding to and viewing this forum late at night after my second job so words are a little slurred.

Bob the break down that you provided was awesome thanks I really appreciate that. :D

But yes both plans are PFFS it states that information on page 2 of their advantra books.
On page 4 is the breakdown of the benefits and most definitely except for Emergency room and Ambulance rides you no copay except for dental and vision insurance.

I stay away from recommending a drug med sup plan because they are poorer than true Part D plans.

Thanks for your help though keep the comments coming they are extemely helpful.

The problem selling the Coventry plans here in Kansas City is that you are going up against the other Coventry, the captive agents. They are offering the $0 Premium HMO / PPO, all with co-pays (no co-insurance). They focus in the Jackson and Cass counties in MO and Johnson in KS. If you can break out of those counties that might help.

If I was selling a Medicaid plan in MO, I would head for the towers. A lot of the folks in the senior high rises are Medicaid. Humana and Coventry usually do not touch them (unless they have a high spend down).

Bob I was recently introduced to Universal Healthcare. How are they to work with? Or anyone with experience with them.
