Just like any product, they're excellent for the right client / scenario and awful for the wrong client / scenario. I think, frankly, they oversell the lifetime benefit feature, because unless clients are willing to pump massive amounts of cash into the policy the monthly maximum is pretty low. Annuity Care has been a great fallback for several of my clients who couldn't be underwritten for traditional LTC, and the annuity care product is a good product.
Kerry, you realize Justin's question was from 2017 when OneAmerica's policies with Lifetime benefits were an insanely terrific value proposition. Sure, pricing has changed today with current interest rates.
