Organizing Your Briefcase

How do you experienced agents organize your briefcases? What do you keep in them at all times? Of course apps and pens etc, but I want to see if someone has a simpler way than what I'm doing.
So far I have a folder for each carrier, and each one has apps, brochures, and rate sheets inside. I have individual apps clipped to all necessary forms and disclosures, to make a packet with everything I need for each app. Ive got an accordion file that has extra forms inside along with the agent guide for each carrier. I keep a health cheat sheet inside my clipboard to look up any conditions and find a carrier that will accept them.

I use a metal clipboard that has storage inside that holds three apps of each carrier I write. I also use my tablet for agent guides, rx guides, etc...

I have used the same briefcase for the past 5 years. I just spent 2 hours gluing it back together and also used steel braces with screws as an added touch. Looks like hell, but it gives me something else to talk about. The same goes for the holes in my socks. FE buyers seem to like that ****. They think I am one of them.

Still love using my over sized 3 ring binder that holds everything needed for each carrier!

I have one of those too. I use it when I door knock because it looks more like a meter reader would carry it.

I carry a pretty good sized briefcase. I have a folder for all the companies with their literature and also any change of beneficiary forms or banking forms.

I carry applications for RNA, Americo, Trans, Trinity/FBL and AmCon in a folder with all the replacement forms and whatever forms those companies need.

That's into every home. I have a separate folder with settlers, foresters, snl, oxford, etc, in the car.

I'm pretty much old school s to how I do business. I don't use the fexquoter. I don't do any ipad or eapps.

I use a 13-file, extra-large accordion file.

I carry 8 or 9 carriers along with applications, rate guides, etc., without much spacial constraints.

NOTE: Make sure to buy the ones with the elastic band, NOT the belt lock; elastic band accordion files have lasted longer for me and are more suitable for carrying a lot of paper around.
