You're totally missing the point.
He could have a perfect script, but talking to 3 people an hour out of 90 dials...there's not enough hours in the day.
I'll agree with you - particularly since P&C isn't a high commission business.
Another suggestion for the OP is, if your agent will let you, is to call on Saturday mornings from 9:30 - 11:30am. You'll get more people at home and even talk to more household decision makers.
